Director's Message

God has been so gracious and kind that He has led us so far victoriously. I have never found a friend and guide who is more trustworthy and honest than my Lord all these years. His grace is sufficient for me to live a life of success and distress, pains and gains and of spiritual upliftment. May His guidance further control us in every spectrum of our life?

The birth of Hebron was not accidental. From a humble beginning in the year 1981, the school has grown up to the level of a high school with almost 1500 students on a roll by the year 2010 with classes from Nursery to STD XII is history and is a miraculous testimony. I have to remember the help and support of a lot of people and the support I got from the public of Bagdogra in the later stages. Hebron has become a blessing and joy to thousands of students by now. Amidst unseen competitions, the school has carried a legacy and has been serving this place with meticulous planning and vision.

We wish to carry forward what we have planned and proposed in our character. In my journey to establish the impossible I had been supported by my wife Aleyamma Mammen and my children, Aby and Mercy. I extend my gratitude to them and also to all the people who had contributed their share to make Hebron the present one.

Hebron has been doing well in these years and I congratulate all those remarkable people who are the architects of its construction and renovation. Hebron's journey is a divine tryst and till that destiny will be accomplished we may not rest. We have a great commission to be fulfilled and a sublime target to be accomplished. A dedicated and talented team of teachers and a farsighted administration may incorporate systematically and connect the student and parent force discreetly to achieve this target in its time.

We are here to serve you, dear parents. Your children are our hope for the future. We need to nurture them with a compassionate heart and let them understand the value of life and love. Let us be good role models for our children and let them learn from our good deeds. We need to groom them as national properties.

Sir Edmund Hillary, the conqueror of Mount Everest along with Tenzing Norgay, said “A challenge you're confident of overcoming is hardly worth starting. Why bother if you're quite confident that you're going to overcome it? The real challenges are the ones that extend you to the utmost. It is more impressive to fail on a difficult objective than to succeed on a modest one”. Let us understand the meaning of these great words and remember with great humility that they had accomplished what they have hoped for.

The world needs love and compassion. It is not something which is superficial and focuses on ourselves. But a God-given sacrificial love which makes a difference in our life and in those whose lives we love dearly.

I congratulate the architects of this project for their efforts and we are sure that through this web site the world may get the access to evaluate our school better and we are glad that we shall continue the sustained work to make our children the best in this part of the world.
